Question–: Is it doable to install track lighting on a dropped ceiling? Do they have tracks that can match on the grid?
Want to install track lighting on a dropped ceiling in the cellar. It is a single of those “beautiful” styrofoam-like tiled ceilings with the metal grid.

I think that it can be carried out. There are so a lot of styles and with folks that are really knowlegable in the lighting area I ‘m confident they can locate a way to hang them

yes u can
u can either do one particular of two issues
one) use modest self cutting screws to attach it…if you dont program on taking it down for a prolonged time and dant care about a few holes in it later
or
two) they offer a little clip that attaches to the grid, it has a little threaded peice that will go into the track lighting and secures with a nut

Take one of your shades to a lighting retailer or maybe Residence Depot and you can match it .

Copper lights will not match in Luthonia tracks.
Luthonia lights will not fit in Rab tracks.
Rab lights will not fit in Progress tracks.
You get the concept? The light fixtures have to be made to fit the tracks. By the very same manufacture.
A normal Copper light head will not fit into a Copper Mini track.
They have to fit by brand AND type.

Every track is brand-certain. I would not advise making an attempt to mix makers.
