If your lamps are anything like mine, you’d have to take away the authentic globe. I believe the socket and threads and all for the bulb are separate. Then get a new lampshade. Get the variety with the 2 wire loops that grip the bulb straight. I think if you do this, it really is going to look sorta strange…the lamp is going to be also higher.
