Nice, inexpensive light fixture,
This is a very nice item for the price. The amber glass is the nicest part and doesn’t look cheap like I was worried about. As for the metal rim, it is a painted on faux finish. It may look a little cheap from up close, but once it is installed on the ceiling you can’t tell the difference between this and a slightly more expensive fixture. Definitely a good deal overall.

|Great Value…but NOT bronze color,
I purchased the Berkshire chandelier also, and thought perhaps I got the wrong model, because it was GRAY and not brown/black in color. However, it seems Hardware House’s oil-rubbed bronze is GRAY w/ COPPER ACCENTS, because the metal parts of this fixture is also gray.
Overall, I still think this is a great value…since it can easily be remedied with a few coats of spray paint. It’ll be pretty hard to find a more decent-looking flush mount ceiling fixture for $18 and some change…and it qualifies for free shipping!

we bought this light for $18ish and it is worth the money. It was well represented on the website and exactly what we expected and wanted. It was relatively easy to install and it is not particularly remarkable which is what we were looking for.
