Query–: have you had troubles with Cooper LIghting 100 Watt Metal Halide Fixtures?
We’ve skilled burnout of 29 of the 79 fixtures installed
Ours are indtalled on the outdoors of residential apartments and have been tested as far as correct voltage – we believe this is a manufacturing problem – that the size of the unit does not permit the heat produced by the 100 Watt bulb to dissapate. Cooper lighting is generally a good item, I am just pondering what you have 7,900 watts of light on, Most of the time that much light is employed in parking lots, horse arenas points of that nature, are they 120v, 240v, 277v, 480v a person could have wired them to the wrong voltage, these types of lights are factory made for three or 4 voltage setting if wired incorrectly they are brief lived lights.
