nicely… if you use iTunes, you can switch the genres and search at the top songs, and at the bottom, there are about five new songs that are totally free, they generally are some thing entertaining to listen to each and every when and awhile. who knows, the subsequent leading song may well be down there

Q&A–: Why does today’s music sound so terrible?
Some individuals screw up old classic songs and the majority of the time I see dark skinned men and women on video hits and music exhibits like that(nothing at all against them).
I listen to 50′s 60′s 70′s 80′s 90′s and the point that it starts to screw up is when we hit the new millenium!
Old school rap was awesom! now new school rap….don’t know in which the talent has gone!
I am seeing heaps much more emo bands……and a massive shift of my peers going to heavy metal. James Blunt started to annoy the crap out of me with his substantial pitched songs! Chasing vehicles was one more annoying song with a crappy music video!
Dave Dobbyn’s music was awesom, Slice of heaven! Run DMC get difficult,Electrical lights orchestra – do not bring me down, Bachmen turner overdrive – taking care of company, dragon – april sun in cuba, lou bega – mambo amount five! these songs are awesom and were authentic and could make me jump off my seat at any second and get me dancing. Today’s song doesn’t! so why the hell doesn’t it?
I was born in 92 and i loved the 90′s but from 2000 on wards it sucked poor! could hardly locate a hit every single year!
I listen to allot of oldies radio channels trigger those old songs are classics and the authentic stuff with Real talent
it really is an absaloute disapointment! and some little ones complain that i am an old fart! well and old fart has better music taste then those crappy new school rap and pop men and women
what are you talking about mambo amount five was amazing! lou bega did the best version! had jazz and vocals you coud hear! and music that played on every single other like kids in a play ground

Answer by salsweb
MOST music is great now (except for the really bad black rap), and 80s and 90s. quite handful of 70s. 50s and 60s? truly? that sucks negative
Answer by Luna
bands and singers are trying to sound like 80′s
but sadly they copy the bad 80′s not the good
Answer by Huge City Dreams
Music sucks now because of our generation, we are starting to give
sh!tty pop singers credit for practically nothing. They do not write their own songs and they can’t sing at all.
Answer by Hobbit__song
Classical music is king. Nobody has the talent of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchicosky these days… it really is kinda sad…
I think ppl are also hateful and dont’ take the time to assume about issues deeply..
Answer by Athena L
simply because men and women currently only make “music” so that there’s new Ringtones…
Answer by Starlight fairy
It does not sound terrible, you just have to listen much more than once just before you make your final judgement. I like a great deal of stuff out all around now, 20 many years from now you will be saying the music from right now was so significantly better than what is gonna be out then.
Answer by Emily
Ugh, it is terrible. On the brilliant side, economy’s down. Oh, wait…
Answer by kewte_kewpie
Ha ha! It’s just a matter of taste. I do not care for a great deal of the stuff you listen to (but some I do like). What I would recommend is to listen to satellite radio or examine out various bands on myspace. The stuff the mainstream radio plays has by no means really floated my boat- on occasion, there will be a band I genuinely enjoy like Muse. But that is far and few inbetween the “other fluff”. I feel your discomfort:)
Answer by yeahsoimhereandstuff
Since it does. now send some porn.
Answer by Cuteppupyxx:)
You feel today’s music terrible, due to the fact that just your felling. In addition to, some other folks may well believe that it isn’t.
Give your answer to this question beneath!

I totally agree, especially E.L.O. love the album Face The Music, I grew up on all that good rock n roll which they now consider Classic rock, to me some of the alternative stuff is ok like Bush, Red Hot Chili Peppers….ETC but it still does not compare to Rush, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles so on and so forth.
I have to agree with you. My taste is a bit more specific in that I prefer rock and metal from the 70s and 80s, though. Still, greats like Dire straits, Pink Floyd, Black Sabath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper just do not come about anymore. Alice Cooper is still recording, and so is Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits, and they retain a lot of what made them great. But I have not found a popular band more recent than the 90s that I enjoy. The best I come up with is some indie bands. They have little chance of becoming main stream, but they capture what made music in the past great. For example, I came across a band called Tragedy who performs metal versions of Beegees songs. I never liker the Beegees much, but they really capture the feeling of 80s metal. Even if it is covers of 70s disco… I suggest finding a good indie music site like the one in my link, and looking for bands that seem interesting. They are less likely to meet current trends in favor of what they truly like to perform. Best of all, most of it is free to listen to, and some sites even offer it as free to download.
Most of the songs / bands I listen to are from the 70s, 80s and 90s. For some reason, I never really caught on to what exactly the musicians of this century were trying to do (and still are).
When I listen to such iconic bands like Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Kiss and others, I feel a little disappointed with the quality of stuf being churned out today. Where’s the grandness, the sound, the melody, the music? I really miss them.
I think that we have reach the point were music it’s not progressing.
We need a new sound, there is to much hip-hop around, I’m not against it, but it’s to much of the same flavor.
There are still good musician out there that can escape of what I’m saying, but we need that in a massive way.
I think that the next step it’s going to be, rock alternative and electronic music in a progressive way.
try not to listen to classical music to much that might help!!!
You should try to listen to bands like (i don’t think i m allowed to write bands name)….there is a massive list of good bands you can listen from.
I think its because you are listening to today’s commercial music.
There isn’t a lot of good commercial music. But take a step away from that into the more indie scene and you will surely here better music.
But seriously. what the hell. Mambo number 5? That was AWFUL
That’s because you’re lazy and you haven’t bothered to search for the good bands. They are NOT going to be found on TV, on the radio, or in the top 40. That’s just how it is.
Talent doesn’t just stop after a certain year. Whether it’s musical, lyrical, or vocal (or other) talent, there’s still PLENTY out there.
You’re assuming that out of all of the countries in the entire world, the only music that is being produced is that shxtty pop, rap, or country sound. That’s terribly ignorant.
How about Nightwish, a symphonic metal band from Finland? Their old vocalist was classically trained – she’s spent most of her life training and working with her voice. Their keyboardist is also the lyricist, and he is amazing. He even dedicated a song to Columbine entitled “The Kinslayer”. What about those bands that you listen to? Yeah, you’re listening to Run DMC saying “Get tricky!” over and over.
Here’s one to put you in a doozy – a pop singer from the U.S. that barely anyone knows called Vienna Teng. She writes and performs her own songs. Try listening to “Blue Caravan” or “Lullaby For A Stormy Night” (which she wrote when she was SIXTEEN).
What about someone who’s practically invented her own genre? Emilie Autumn is amazingly talented. She writes her own lyrics, sings them, and plays a multitude of instruments (including the electric violin). Her music generally mixes a sort of industrial sound with classical music. And her songs often reference to her rape. She’s extremely talented.
How about Within Temptation, from the Netherlands? Their lead vocalist, Sharon den Adel, has NEVER taken any type of singing lessons. And they’re very famous over in Europe! Try listening to “Mother Earth” or “Deceiver of Fools” and tell me that that band has no talent.
I could honestly go on and on all day long – I’ve got two thousand albums in my music collection, and 70% of it is after 1998 – but either you’ll get the point or you won’t. Either you can take initiative, and actually SEARCH for the music that’s good out there (or you can even email me and I’ll be happy to help), or you can be just like every other mindless sheep out there and sit in your ignorance.
Jumping on the “New music sucks!” bandwagon is JUST as bad as jumping on the “Old music sucks!” bandwagon. Just please think about it.
